What you’ll work on

You’ll join a solo technical founder and ship production infrastructure from day one. The system is a multi-agent pipeline that reads complex structured data, reasons over domain-specific knowledge, and takes long-horizon actions autonomously — planning, executing, and verifying across hundreds of parallel workstreams. Your work will span three areas:

• Parallelism and orchestration — the pipeline dispatches hundreds of concurrent subagents per run. You’ll own throughput, failure recovery, and cost efficiency across the orchestration layer.
• Authoring-tool integrations — we’re building native plugins for the two dominant design tools in our target market. You’ll work across their SDKs, our API surface, and the feedback loop back into the pipeline.
• Jurisdiction expansion — the platform’s knowledge base is a structured, searchable corpus of regulatory text. You’ll extend the ingestion pipeline to new document formats and regulatory bodies.

You’re a good fit if

• You’ve shipped and maintained production backend systems — real traffic, real users, real on-call.
• You’re comfortable with TypeScript/Python, can navigate a large open-source geometry library, and have touched at least one plugin/extension SDK (VS Code, Figma, Revit, Unreal — the specific platform matters less than the pattern).
• You are fluent in AI-assisted development. You already use tools like Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, or Cursor as daily, load-bearing infrastructure — delegating to agents, reviewing their output critically, and shipping faster because of it. This is essential. We are an AI-native company that builds AI with AI; every engineer here is expected to operate at that speed.
• You can read a 40-page technical specification and turn it into test cases on your own initiative.
• You’re drawn to regulated or safety-critical domains where getting it wrong has real consequences.
• You’re comfortable working in a two-person engineering team where each engineer owns the full loop — design it, build it, test it, deploy it.

Also welcome

• Familiarity with BIM, IFC, or AEC-industry data formats.
• Experience with LLM-based pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation, or agent orchestration frameworks.
• Prior work on geometry processing, spatial data, or CAD interop.

What you’ll work on

You know the profession from the inside and can translate that knowledge into product decisions. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, and domain strategy. Your work covers three areas:

• Client delivery — you’ll onboard professional firms onto the platform, walk their teams through AI-generated outputs, and ensure the product fits naturally into how they already work. You’re the trusted voice on the other side of the table.
• Product direction — you’ll shape what the platform reviews, how it presents findings, and what it should prioritize next. Every insight you bring from practice directly moves the roadmap.
• Market development — you’ll identify and qualify prospective firms, build relationships with decision-makers, and convert early engagements into long-term contracts.

You’re a good fit if

• You have professional experience in architecture, engineering, or a related design discipline — ideally with exposure to project delivery, technical review, or regulatory coordination.
• You’re comfortable presenting technical findings to a principal or project lead and having a direct conversation about what the data shows.
• You are comfortable with AI tools. You’re already using AI in your own work — whether that’s ChatGPT for research, Copilot for documents, or any tool that makes you faster. Coding experience is welcome; what matters here is fluency with AI tools. We are an AI-native company; every team member leverages AI daily, across every role.
• You’re curious about how AI can reshape a traditional profession and want to help build the tool itself — shaping where it goes.
• You’re comfortable with ambiguity — excited to help shape how this company operates from day one.

• Architectural licence (or equivalent professional credential) in any Canadian province.
• Experience across multiple project types (residential, commercial, institutional, mixed-use).
• Familiarity with Canadian or international regulatory frameworks in the built environment.
• Prior experience in a startup, consulting practice, or any environment where you wore multiple hats.
